Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: September 2026

These website terms apply to Logik Construction Ltd and the use of this website.

Specific building projects will be subject to the individual quotation, scope of works and, where applicable, a separate written building contract agreed between Logik Construction Ltd and the client.

1. QUOTATIONS

All quotations are based on the information, drawings, specifications and site conditions available to us at the time they are prepared.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 30 days.

Any work not specifically included within the agreed quotation or scope of works will be treated as additional work and may result in an additional charge.

2. PROJECT SCOPE

The scope of each project will be set out within the relevant quotation, specification or building contract.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the information and drawings supplied to us are accurate and that any required planning permission, Building Regulations approval, structural information or other permissions are in place unless we have specifically agreed in writing to arrange these on their behalf.

3. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

A deposit may be required before works are scheduled or materials are ordered.

Larger projects may be subject to staged or progress payments. The payment schedule will be clearly set out within the relevant quotation or contract.

Invoices must be paid within the period stated on the invoice or agreed contract.

Any project-specific payment terms contained within an agreed building contract or quotation will take precedence over these general website terms.

4. VARIATIONS & ADDITIONAL WORK

Changes requested after a quotation or scope of works has been agreed may be treated as a variation.

Where reasonably possible, the cost and any effect on the programme will be discussed and agreed before additional work is carried out.

Variations may include additional work requested by the client, changes to materials or finishes, alterations to the agreed design or unforeseen conditions discovered during construction.

Where previously concealed or unforeseen conditions become apparent during the work, we will discuss the available options with the client before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.

5. PROJECT TIMESCALES

Any programme or completion date provided will be based on the information available at the time and any specific contractual commitments agreed with the client.

Building work can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including adverse weather, material shortages, supplier delays, unforeseen site conditions and delays involving third parties.

Where delays occur, we will communicate these with the client and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption to the project.

6. ACCESS & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client must provide reasonable access to the property during the agreed working periods and ensure that the work area is reasonably clear and accessible.

Clients should make us aware of any known issues that could affect the work, including existing services, structural concerns, access restrictions or other relevant site conditions.

Additional costs or delays resulting from information or conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work commenced will be discussed with the client.

7. MATERIALS

Materials will be supplied in accordance with the agreed quotation and specification.

Natural materials including timber and stone can vary in colour, grain, texture and appearance. These natural variations are not necessarily defects.

Where a specified product becomes unavailable, any proposed alternative will be discussed with the client before substitution wherever reasonably practicable.

8. WORKMANSHIP

We take pride in the quality of our work and will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Nothing within these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights available to a consumer under UK law.

If a client has a concern regarding completed work, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can inspect the issue and, where appropriate, agree how it should be resolved.

9. SPECIALIST TRADES & SUBCONTRACTORS

Where required, Logik Construction may use suitably qualified specialist trades and subcontractors as part of delivering a project.

We may coordinate these trades as part of the overall construction programme where this forms part of our agreed scope of works.

10. CANCELLATION

Cancellation rights will depend on the nature of the project, how and where the contract was entered into and the applicable consumer legislation.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply, these rights will not be restricted by these Terms.

Any project-specific cancellation arrangements will be detailed within the relevant quotation or building contract.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and marketing purposes.

Where photographs could identify the client, their personal information or their precise home address, appropriate permission will be obtained before publication.

12. WEBSITE CONTENT

The information contained on this website is provided for general information about Logik Construction and our services.

While we aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, information on this website should not be treated as project-specific technical, architectural or legal advice.

Project requirements will always be determined by the relevant drawings, specifications, quotation and contract.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the Logik Construction name, branding, website copy and original website content belong to Logik Construction Ltd and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.

14. PRIVACY

Personal information submitted through this website or provided in connection with an enquiry will be used for the purpose of responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, managing projects and meeting our legal and administrative obligations.

Further information may be provided within our Privacy Policy.

15. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTES

If a problem or disagreement arises, we ask clients to contact us first so that we can discuss the issue and attempt to resolve it fairly and promptly.

Nothing within these Terms affects either party's legal rights or access to any dispute resolution process available under applicable law.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any project-specific written building contract agreed between Logik Construction Ltd and the client will take precedence over these general website Terms & Conditions where the two differ.
